5T and Mo Sarkar removed from Odisha government employee appraisals

Bhubaneswar, Aug 7: The Odisha government has decided to discontinue the existing format that reflected the implementation of the 5T charter and Mo Sarkar initiative in the Annual Performance Appraisal Report (PAR) for various categories of government employees.
According to a notification issued by the General Administration and Public Grievance Department, the evaluation of the PAR and Annual Confidential Character Rolls (CCR) for government employees in Groups A, B, and C will no longer include mechanisms related to the 5T charter and Mo Sarkar initiative.
Previously, the BJD government had mandated the inclusion of the 5T charter and Mo Sarkar initiative in the PAR, giving weightage to employees' performance in these areas. However, as per the latest notification, the format used prior to 2019-20 will now be reinstated.
