Odisha weather forecast: Rain expected across the state
Bhubaneswar, Aug 5: According to the India Meteorological Centre in Bhubaneswar, Odisha is set to experience rain over the next seven days. The rainfall is expected to vary from light to moderate in intensity.
The Monsoon throughline formation has triggered this weather pattern, resulting in widespread rain across the state. Coastal districts, including Cuttack, Puri, Khurda, Mayurbhanj, Keonjhar, Deogarh, and Jharsuguda, may witness heavy to very heavy rainfall in certain areas.

Light to moderate rain or thundershowers are very likely in a few places across Odisha.
August 7:
Expect light to moderate rain or thundershowers in many places across North Coastal Odisha, Mayurbhanj, Keonjhar, Angul, and Dhenkanal.
A Yellow Warning is issued for heavy rainfall (7cm to 11cm) at one or two locations in Sundargarh, Keonjhar, Mayurbhanj, Angul, Dhenkanal, Balasore, and Bhadrak.
August 8:
Light to moderate rain or thundershowers are likely to occur in most places across Odisha.
A Yellow Warning remains in effect for heavy rainfall (7cm to 11cm) at one or two locations in Bargarh, Sundargarh, Jharsuguda, Sambalpur, Deogarh, Angul, Dhenkanal, Keonjhar, Mayurbhanj, Sonepur, Bolangir, Nuapada, Malkangiri, Koraput, and Nawarangpur.
August 9:
Anticipate light to moderate rain or thundershowers in many places across North Odisha.
A Yellow Warning indicates heavy rainfall (7cm to 11cm) at one or two locations in certain districts of North Odisha.
