Jagannath Temple Managing Committee meets to discuss key issues
Bhubaneswar, Aug 5: The Shreemandir Managing Committee convened today to deliberate on various matters, including the Standard Operating Procedure (SoP) for opening and utilizing the Ratna Bhandar, as well as the use of Arpan Chaula (rice collected during the Shremandir Heritage Project inauguration).
The committee thoroughly discussed the incorporation of laser scanning, scientific tools, and technology in the SoP for Ratna Bhandar's repair. Following the discussion, the SoP has been sent for final approval, according to Shree Jagannath Temple Administration chief Arabinda Padhee.
The committee also explored the utilization of Arpan Chaula and authorized the SJTA Chief Administrator and the district Collector to engage with various Nijogs, gather suggestions, and submit them to the State government for a final decision.
Additionally, the committee addressed other important issues, including smooth darshan of deities, filling vacant positions within the SJTA, renovating the Singhadwar police station and managing the mines and landed properties of the Shreemandir
