Union Minister Satish Chandra Dubey begins two-day visit to Odisha

Bhubaneswar, July 27: Union Minister of State for Coal and Mines, Satish Chandra Dubey, arrived in Bhubaneswar on Saturday for a two-day visit to Odisha. During his visit, Dubey will participate in a series of events across Bhubaneswar, Sambalpur, and Angul.
His itinerary begins today with a review meeting at the Nalco Corporate Office in Bhubaneswar, where he will assess the company’s progress and discuss key initiatives. Following this, the Union Minister will travel to Angul to inspect the Smelter Plant.
He will then visit the headquarters of Mahanadi Coalfields in Burla, Sambalpur district. On July 28, Dubey is scheduled to attend multiple government programmes in Sambalpur and visit various locations.
Upon his arrival at Biju Patnaik Airport in Bhubaneswar, Union Minister Satish Chandra Dubey addressed the contentious issue of coal royalty between the states and the Centre. He assured that the Modi government does not discriminate against states, stating, “Odisha is an integral part of India and will receive its due share. States are not meted out step-motherly treatment in the Modi government. The NITI Aayog will take a decision on the matter, ensuring that states get what they rightfully deserve.”
