Naveen refutes claims of VK Pandian attempting to aid BJP in Odisha

Bhubaneswar, July 22: BJD supremo Naveen Patnaik has once again come to the defense of VK Pandian, dismissing a recent report from a national media outlet as false and defamatory. Patnaik took to his official X account to reject the claims made in the report.
The national daily alleged that VK Pandian had been attempting to secure a meeting with Amit Shah through a Cabinet minister holding multiple portfolios. According to the report, Pandian had traveled to Delhi multiple times in recent weeks but was unsuccessful in meeting Shah. The report also suggested that Pandian had offered to help the BJP increase its support base in Odisha and potentially split the BJD.
Responding to these allegations, Patnaik tweeted, “This is completely false, motivated, defamatory, and malicious. As I have stated earlier, Mr. Pandian has served the state and party with utmost dedication, efficiency, and integrity, and he is known and respected for the same.”
This is not the first time Patnaik has defended Pandian, who had previously faced criticism following the party’s electoral setback.
