Forest officials rescue five stranded students in Saptasajya Hill

Bhubaneswar, July 1: Five students who went missing in Saptasajya Hill were safely rescued after a night search operation by forest officials in the early hours of Monday.
Among the rescued, four students are from Dhenkanal, and one is from Cuttack. Forest officials enlisted the help of local residents to locate the missing students.
Sources report that a group of seven students went trekking to Saptasajya on Sunday. Five of them ventured further up the hill, past Bishnu Baba Ashram, and got stranded in the forest due to heavy rain, making it difficult to find their way back. They managed to contact their families.
Upon receiving the information, police, along with local residents, conducted a seven-hour search and successfully rescued the students.
The rescued students are identified as Arakhita Mahapatra, Subham Mahapatra, Himanshu Das, Sujit Sahu, and Lucky Das from the Rajendra Nagar area near Cuttack, all aged between 18 and 20 years.
