10-year-old student dies after water tank wall collapse in Balasore
Bhubaneswar, June 28: In a tragic incident on Friday, a student died after the wall of a water tank collapsed on him at Saragaon Padmapur in Balasore district.
The deceased, identified as 10-year-old Narayan Tudu, was a student at a private English Medium School and resided in the school hostel. The incident occurred when Narayan went to wash his hands near the water tank after breakfast. The wall of the tank suddenly caved in, trapping him under the debris.
School authorities quickly rescued Narayan and rushed him to the District Headquarters Hospital, where doctors declared him dead.
Police have since arrived at the scene and launched an investigation into the incident. Narayan's death has left his family in deep shock and mourning.
