Odisha BJP set to select new CM in party meeting tomorrow

Bhubaneswar, June 10: Brajrajnagar MLA Suresh Pujari has confirmed that the selection of Odisha's new Chief Minister will take place during the party meeting scheduled for tomorrow. Returning from Delhi after attending Prime Minister Narendra Modi's oath-taking ceremony, Pujari stated that the party has yet to finalize the CM candidate.
Speaking to the media, he indicated that Union Ministers Rajnath Singh and Bhupendra Yadav have been designated as observers for the selection process. They will meet with the newly elected MLAs, and the decision on the CM will be made during tomorrow's meeting. Pujari urged patience while awaiting the party's decision.
The BJP Parliamentary Board appointed Rajnath Singh and Bhupendra Yadav as observers for the BJP Legislative Party leader election in Odisha, with a meeting scheduled for tomorrow.
Initially slated for June 10, the historic oath-taking ceremony for the new Chief Minister has been rescheduled to June 12. The legislative party meeting, originally set for June 10, has also been moved to June 11.
