Bramhani River claims lives of two students in Rourkela

Bhubaneswar, June 8: In a tragic incident, two students drowned in the Bramhani River in Rourkela, Sundergarh district, Odisha, on Saturday. The incident occurred near Vedvyas.
The deceased students have been identified as Sameer Kumar Nayak and Rajat Kumar Sahu from Jaleswar.
According to reports, a group of six students had gone to bathe in the Bramhani River near Vedvyas in Rourkela. Unfortunately, they were swept away into deep water.
Local residents witnessed the students drowning and managed to rescue four of them. They have been hospitalized for treatment. However, despite efforts, the other two students, Sameer Kumar Nayak and Rajat Kumar Sahu, could not be saved and drowned in the river.
