Renowned sand artist Sudarsan Patnaik hospitalized for breathing issues

Bhubaneswar, May 28: Renowned sand artist Sudarsan Patnaik was hospitalized on Tuesday after experiencing breathing difficulties.
Patnaik shared updates about his health on his social media handle. Taking to Twitter, he wrote, "Jai Jagannath. Perhaps due to post-Covid complications, I am facing breathing issues and have been admitted to the hospital. Doctors are attending to me."
Notably, Patnaik had recently garnered attention for a noble cause. He crafted a massive sand sculpture at Puri Beach in Odisha to raise awareness about voting. Covering an area of 2,000 sq ft, the sculpture carried the message "Chunab ka Parba, Desh ka Garv" (Election Celebration, Pride of the Nation).
Incorporating mangoes, a favorite fruit during summer, into the sculpture, Patnaik aimed to encourage voters to participate in the ongoing elections for six Lok Sabha and 42 assembly segments.
