VK Pandian foresees overwhelming victory for BJD in Odisha

Bhubaneswar, April 8: BJD has voiced confidence in its ability to reclaim power by securing 75% of the seats in the forthcoming Assembly elections in Odisha.
Addressing the state-level convention of Biju Sramik Samukhya in Bhubaneswar on Sunday, BJD leader and 5T chairman VK Pandian expressed certainty that the ruling party would secure victory with a historic margin in the upcoming elections. Additionally, Pandian asserted that under the leadership of Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik, BJD would enhance its performance even in the Lok Sabha elections.
Seeking the blessings of the public, Pandian urged them to vote for the party's Conch symbol, emphasizing its representation of their leader, Naveen Patnaik, regardless of the candidates.
Highlighting the significant role of laborers in the development of a robust Odisha, Pandian underscored the Chief Minister's steadfast commitment to their welfare. He cited the example of Biju Patnaik, the Chief Minister's father and a revered leader, who had increased the daily wage of laborers from Rs 11 to 25. Pandian also lauded Naveen Patnaik's achievement of raising the wage by an unprecedented Rs 100, from the existing Rs 350 to Rs 450, despite facing opposition from various quarters.
Furthermore, Pandian discussed several development projects initiated by the state government, emphasizing the measures taken for the economic advancement of the labor force.
