Mo Bus mishap: 20 injured as vehicle plunges into nullah

Bhubaneswar, April 6: A Mo Bus traveling from Bhubaneswar to Khordha veered off the road and plunged into a roadside nullah near Pitapali Chhak on Saturday, leaving at least 20 passengers injured.
While the precise cause of the accident remains unclear, initial suspicions point towards the driver losing control of the steering wheel.
Given the location's busy nature, a significant number of commuters gathered to assist the injured individuals.
According to reports, all injured passengers have been admitted to Khordha hospital, with approximately 25 to 30 passengers on board during the incident. The condition of 10 passengers is described as critical, with two in extremely critical condition. Some passengers are slated to be transferred to Bhubaneswar for further medical attention.
Despite some passengers contacting the police control room for help, no official response was reportedly received. Subsequently, bystanders intervened, rescuing passengers by breaking the Mo Bus's windowpanes.
Several injured passengers have been relocated to Capital Hospital in Bhubaneswar, while a medical team at Khordha hospital is diligently providing primary treatment to those injured.
