YouTuber couple surrenders to forest officials over wildlife violations

Bhubaneswar, March 28: The YouTuber duo, known for flaunting images and videos of wild animals in violation of Wildlife Act regulations on social media platforms, surrendered to Forest Department authorities on Wednesday night.
Reportedly, Monalisa Bhadra and her spouse had been cautioned against harboring wild animals and sharing related content online. Despite warnings from the Forest Department, they persisted in posting such material on social media.
In response, Forest Department officials took decisive action, conducting a raid on their residence in Jahal village, Jajpur. However, upon learning of the impending raid, Monalisa and her husband absconded.
Undeterred, Forest Department personnel carried out a subsequent raid, rescuing a monkey from their premises.
Following directives from the Assistant Conservator of Forests (ACF), dedicated teams were mobilized to apprehend the YouTuber couple, with charges filed against them. Eventually, Monalisa and her husband surrendered to Forest Department authorities on Wednesday night.
