Fire service on high alert in Bhubaneswar for Holi

Bhubaneswar, March 25: The Fire Service will maintain heightened vigilance for Holi tomorrow to prevent any potential incidents in the city. Special teams have been assembled, each comprising six members, to address any emergencies.
Identified as vulnerable spots for drowning incidents are the bathing ghats of Kuakhai and Daya rivers, Puri Canal, Balipatna siphon, and Bankual. Fire Service personnel will focus particularly on these areas.
Deputy Fire Officer Abani Kumar Swain stated, "We will deploy our rescue teams primarily at bathing ghats prone to accidents, notably along the Daya and Kuakhai rivers, Puri canal, Balipatna siphon, and Balianta. These teams will be equipped with essential rescue gear such as lifebuoys, life jackets, scuba sets, underwater buoys, rubber boats, and rescue lines."
