BSE Odisha begins evaluation of HSC answer sheets

Bhubaneswar, March 15: The Board of Secondary Education (BSE), Odisha, has commenced the assessment of answer sheets submitted by students who participated in the annual high school certificate (HSC) examinations.
As per reports, the board has provided training to chief examiners, deputy examiners, and teachers to ensure a smooth process of evaluating the answer scripts. Each evaluation center comprises a minimum of 9 units and a maximum of 13 units per account, with 25 teachers assigned to each unit for checking the answer sheets.
Approximately 15,000 teachers are engaged in evaluating the answer sheets at 55 centers spread across the state. To maintain security, the answer papers are being transported from the exam centers to the evaluation centers under strict surveillance.
This year, more than 500,000 students appeared for the Class X high school certificate examination throughout the state.
