President of Balangir Traders' Association found dead on railway tracks

Balangir, Jan 15: The lifeless body of Tripurari Panigrahi, a prominent businessman and the president of the Balangir Traders' Association, was discovered on the railway tracks near Khujenpali railway station on Monday.
Panigrahi, who failed to return home the previous night, triggered a frantic search by his family members. Unfortunately, their efforts proved futile. Early this morning, they were notified about a body found on the tracks, and subsequent identification confirmed it to be that of the missing businessman.
The Government Railway Police have conducted a postmortem on the body and launched an inquiry into the circumstances surrounding Panigrahi's demise. Concurrently, family members are undergoing questioning. The exact nature of the incident remains uncertain, as it is unclear whether he met with foul play, leading to his body being discarded on the tracks, or if he took his own life by leaping in front of a moving train, according to sources.
