Bhubaneswar: The 27th anniversary of the founding of the ruling Biju Janata Dal (BJD) was joyously observed across the state today.

Under the directive of party chief Naveen Patnaik, BJD MPs and MLAs orchestrated commemorative events in their respective constituencies.

Numerous social initiatives such as marathons, blood donation drives, tree planting campaigns, and various other community-focused programs were orchestrated by party officials throughout the state in celebration of this day.

Marking the occasion, a cycling rally commenced from Anand Bhawan in Cuttack, the birthplace of Naveen Patnaik, concluding at Sankha Bhawan, the headquarters of BJD in Bhubaneswar.

BJD President Naveen Patnaik honored the revered memory of the illustrious leader and former Odisha Chief Minister, Biju Patnaik, by offering floral tributes at Forest Park in the city.

In commemoration of the foundation day, party leaders and workers reaffirmed their commitment to selflessly serve the people of Odisha by taking a solemn pledge.
