IMD predicts sustained dry weather in Odisha, warns of cooler nights

Bhubaneswar, Dec 10: The midday bulletin from the India Meteorological Department (IMD) on Sunday reported prevalent dry weather across Odisha. Additionally, dense to very dense fog was observed in specific locations within the Sundargarh and Koraput districts of interior Odisha.
The minimum temperatures experienced a significant decrease at select spots in the districts of north Odisha, with an appreciable decline in one or two locations within the districts of interior Odisha and north coastal Odisha.
In other regions of Odisha, there was no substantial change. The minimum temperatures were notably above normal in one or two places in the districts of interior Odisha, appreciably above normal at a few locations in the districts of interior Odisha, and above normal at numerous places in the districts of Coastal Odisha.
The highest maximum temperature, reaching 32.0°C, was recorded at Paralakhemundi, while the lowest minimum temperature, registering at 11.5°C, was noted at Keonjhar in the plains of Odisha.
