'Ama Odisha Naveen Odisha' program launched in Khordha & Jagatsinghpur

Bhubaneswar, October 26 - Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik unveiled the 'Ama Odisha Naveen Odisha' initiative on Thursday, aiming to enhance rural infrastructure, with a virtual launch on its fifth day. This program has been rolled out in Khordha and Jagatsinghpur districts.
In Khordha district, seven constituencies, namely Jaydev, Bhubaneswar North, Ekamar Bhubaneswar, Jatni, Begunia, Khordha, and Chilika, will receive a total of Rs 95 crore. This allocation will support 2,763 projects spanning 190 gram panchayats across ten blocks in these constituencies.
Likewise, Jagatsinghpur district will receive Rs 99 crore, benefiting four constituencies – Paradip, Tirtol, Balikuda-Erasama, and Jagatsinghpur. In this district, 2,922 projects will be implemented across 198 gram panchayats in eight blocks.
Overall, this statewide program will allocate Rs 3,397 crore, benefiting 6,794 panchayats. It will encompass 90,723 projects, with a strong focus on each panchayat and village. Each village is slated to receive Rs 10 lakh, while each panchayat will be allocated Rs 50 lakh.
