Bhubaneswar, May 22: In a major action against alleged financial irregularities in cooperative institutions, Odisha Vigilance has arrested Tarini Prasad Tripathy, Managing Director of K. Singhpur Large Area Multi-Purpose Co-operative Society (LAMPCS) in Rayagada, for allegedly embezzling around Rs 75 lakh from the society.
According to Vigilance officials, Tripathy was taken into custody on May 21, 2026 following an investigation into large-scale financial misappropriation within the cooperative body.
