PM Modi’s visit to Odisha on June 20 triggers high-level security review
Bhubaneswar, June 17: Ahead of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s scheduled visit to Odisha on June 20, top officials convened a high-level security review meeting at the Biju Patnaik International Airport in Bhubaneswar on Tuesday. The session was attended by senior personnel from Bhubaneswar administration, Commissionerate Police, and Fire Services to ensure foolproof security arrangements.
Following the meeting, authorities inspected Janata Maidan, where PM Modi will attend a major public event. Odisha Transport Minister Bibhuti Bhusan Jena and Revenue Minister Suresh Pujari were also present during the inspection to oversee preparations. Security has been significantly intensified across Bhubaneswar in anticipation of the Prime Minister’s arrival.
As per the official itinerary, PM Modi will land at the Biju Patnaik International Airport at 3:40 pm. From 3:45 pm to 4:15 pm, he will lead a grand roadshow from the airport to Janata Maidan. He will then address a public meeting from 4:15 pm to 5:30 pm, marking the BJP government’s first anniversary in Odisha. During the event, PM Modi will unveil the state’s ambitious ‘Vision Document.’ He is expected to leave for New Delhi at around 5:50 pm.
