CM Mohan Charan Majhi begins 4-day Delhi visit; to meet PM Modi, discuss Odisha’s progress

Bhubaneswar, May 23: Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi has embarked on a significant four-day visit to New Delhi starting today, with a series of high-level engagements on his agenda. A key highlight of the visit is his scheduled one-on-one meeting with Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
During this crucial interaction, CM Majhi will formally invite the Prime Minister to attend the first anniversary celebrations of the BJP-led government in Odisha, scheduled for June 12, 2025. The meeting will also serve as a platform for the Chief Minister to present a detailed report outlining the achievements of his government over the past year.
The report is expected to focus on various welfare schemes, infrastructure development, and pro-people initiatives launched under Majhi’s leadership, showcasing Odisha’s steady progress.
CM Majhi will also participate in the NITI Aayog Governing Council meeting on May 24, chaired by PM Modi. The meeting will focus on aligning state and national policy goals. Additionally, Majhi is slated to attend a conclave of NDA-ruled states’ Chief Ministers, aimed at enhancing coordination on development strategies.
