CM Mohan Majhi lauds Odisha Police after safe rescue of kidnapped infant in Bhubaneswar

Bhubaneswar, April 15: Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi on Tuesday expressed heartfelt relief and joy following the safe recovery of a three-day-missing infant abducted from the Ram Temple premises in Bhubaneswar on Saturday night. The child’s rescue brought an emotional wave of happiness across the state, particularly after he was reunited with his visually impaired mother.
In a post shared on social media platform X, Chief Minister Majhi stated, “The news of the kidnapped infant returning to the arms of his visually impaired mother has given me great reassurance. Witnessing the smile on her face after being reunited with her son has filled me with immense joy.”
He hailed the Odisha Police for their swift and effective action in rescuing the child within three days of the abduction. “This quick response reflects the dedication of our police in delivering justice to a poor and helpless mother. Their efforts are truly praiseworthy,” he added.
CM Majhi also reiterated his government's commitment to being people-centric. “Our administration is committed to standing by the poor and vulnerable. Their concerns are our topmost priority,” he affirmed.
