Odisha Government reshuffles IAS officers in minor cadre change

Odisha Government reshuffles IAS officers in minor cadre change

Bhubaneswar, March 18: The Odisha government has implemented a minor reshuffle in the IAS cadre, making key administrative changes in various departments. According to a notification issued by the General Administration and Public Grievance Department, several officers have been reassigned to new roles.


2011-batch IAS officer Samarth Verma, currently serving as the Director of Technical Education and Training, has been given the additional charge of Director of Minor Minerals. He also holds the additional responsibility of Managing Director of Odisha Film Development Corporation.


Additionally, K Sudarshan Chakravarthy, a 2011-batch IAS officer who was serving as Director of Minor Minerals, has now been appointed as the Managing Director of Odisha State Civil Supplies Corporation Limited.


Furthermore, Shubham Saxena, a 2013-batch IAS officer and former MD of Odisha State Civil Supplies Corporation Ltd, has been appointed as the Director of Agriculture and Food Production, Odisha.


The reshuffle is expected to streamline administrative efficiency in these key departments.
