IMD issues yellow warnings for dense fog across 10 districts in Odisha

Bhubaneswar, Jan 31: The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued yellow warnings for dense fog affecting ten districts in Odisha tomorrow. The districts likely to experience dense fog on Saturday include Balasore, Bhadrak, Jajpur, Kendrapara, Cuttack, Jagatsinghpur, Keonjhar, Angul, Dhenkanal, and Ganjam.
According to the IMD's prediction, shallow to moderate fog is expected during the early morning hours across several areas.
Specifically, the IMD forecast states, “Shallow to moderate fog is very likely to occur during early morning hours at a few places over the districts of Balasore, Bhadrak, Jajpur, Kendrapara, Cuttack, Jagatsinghpur, Keonjhar, Angul, Dhenkanal, and Ganjam, and at one or two places over Puri, Khurda, Kalahandi, Kandhamal, Sundargarh, Mayurbhanj, Nayagarh, and Koraput.”
Furthermore, the IMD has indicated that dense fog is expected at one or two places in Balasore, Bhadrak, Jajpur, Kendrapara, Cuttack, and Jagatsinghpur on February 2. In addition, the IMD predicts a prolonged spell of dry weather across Odisha, with no significant rainfall activity expected until February 7, allowing for clearer conditions after this foggy period.
