Bhubaneswar, Jan 2: The Odisha government announced a minor reshuffle of Indian Administrative Service (IAS) officers on Thursday, transferring and assigning new roles to five officials.

NBS Rajput (1999 batch): Previously Principal Secretary to the Governor, he has been given additional charge as Principal Secretary to the Government, Public Enterprises Department.

Temjenwapang Ao (2000 batch): Formerly Commissioner-cum-Secretary to the Government, Public Enterprises Department, he has been appointed as Special Secretary to the Government, Planning & Convergence Department.

Bhupendra Singh Poonia (2008 batch): Managing Director of IPICOL and Special Secretary to the Government, Industries Department, Poonia now assumes additional charge as Commissioner-cum-Secretary to the Government, Skill Development & Technical Education Department. His new role will end NBS Rajput’s additional appointment upon taking charge.

Prem Chandra Chaudhary (2010 batch): Former Director of Agriculture & Food Production, he is now Director of Textiles & Handlooms, Odisha.

Arindam Dakua (2011 batch): Previously Private Secretary to the Chief Minister, he has been appointed Director of Municipal Administration and Ex-officio Additional Secretary to the Government, Housing & Urban Development Department.
