Union Home Minister to visit Odisha; focus on training and development

Bhubaneswar, Dec 19: Union Home Minister Amit Shah is expected to embark on a two-day visit to Odisha, with final dates to be announced soon. BJP state president Manmohan Samal confirmed that details of the visit would be shared once the programme is finalized.
The visit holds particular significance as it follows Prime Minister Narendra Modi's recent three-day tour of the state. Modi is also slated to visit Odisha twice in January, underscoring the BJP's growing focus on the region ahead of the upcoming elections.
Sources suggest that Shah’s visit, tentatively planned for late December, will include attending a training programme for BJP MLAs in Bhubaneswar. He is also likely to visit Sambalpur, a key constituency in western Odisha, where he is expected to interact with party workers and local leaders.
Additionally, Shah is anticipated to inaugurate several development projects, further highlighting the Centre's commitment to fostering growth and addressing regional issues in Odisha.
