Bhubaneswar, Dec 14: The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has forecast mostly dry weather across several districts of Odisha from December 15 to December 19, with occasional light rain in some areas during this period.

According to the IMD’s midday bulletin, dense fog is likely to form in isolated areas of Kandhamal, while shallow fog may occur in parts of Kalahandi.

On Sunday, dry conditions will prevail in Jharsuguda and Sundargarh, with shallow to moderate fog possible in parts of Kalahandi and Kandhamal. Similar dry weather will persist across other districts, including Sundargarh and Jharsuguda.

The dry spell is expected to continue on Monday, with shallow fog forecasted in a few areas of Kalahandi, Kandhamal, and nearby regions.

On Tuesday, light rain is predicted in isolated spots in Gajapati, Ganjam, Puri, and Rayagada, while the rest of Odisha will experience dry weather.

Wednesday’s forecast shows a chance of light rain in parts of Gajapati, Ganjam, Puri, Rayagada, Khurda, Nayagarh, Koraput, and Malkangiri, while dry conditions will prevail in other districts.
