Rain in Odisha’s interior districts: IMD provides two-day forecast

Bhubaneswar, Dec 5: The regional center of the India Meteorological Department (IMD) in Bhubaneswar has forecast light to moderate rainfall in several parts of Odisha over the next two days.
According to the IMD, districts like Koraput, Kalahandi, Nabarangpur, Rayagada, Kandhamal, and Malkangiri may experience rainfall within the next 24 hours. On Sunday, similar conditions are expected in Sundargarh, Deogarh, Sambalpur, Jharsuguda, Bargarh, Angul, and Gajapati districts.
Moving to Monday, light showers are likely in Gajapati, Nayagarh, and Ganjam districts. Despite these scattered rainfall predictions, the weather is expected to remain predominantly dry on Friday, Saturday, Tuesday, and Wednesday.
The IMD has clarified that no weather warnings have been issued for the next five days, ensuring minimal disruption for residents. These weather updates aim to assist people in planning their activities while remaining prepared for localized rainfall in the identified regions.
