India Defeated South Africa By 61 Runs In First T20
India won the first T20 match against South Africa. The Indian team on tour to South Africa defeated the home team by 61 runs. Sanju Samson has played an important role in this victory.
The first match of the 4-match T20 series between T20 World Cup champions India and runners-up South Africa was held in Durban. India made 202 runs for the loss of 8 wickets in the allotted 20 overs. Sanju Samson scored 107 off 50 balls.
The South African team, which came down to the field with a target of 203 runs, faced a batting collapse from the start. No player could perform well. As a result, they were able to score 141 runs in 17.5 overs, losing all their wickets. For India, Varun Chakraborty and Ravi Bishnoi took 3 wickets while Avesh Khan took 2 wickets. The second match of the series will be played on Sunday 10th.
