New Zealand Clean Sweep Test Series 3-0
Team India has been defeated in the 3rd Test against New Zealand at Mumbai's wankhede Stadium. The visiting team defeated India by 25 runs and swept the series 3-0.
In the 2nd innings, India needed only 147 runs to win, while the team was bowled out for 121 runs. Rishabh Pant was the only batsman to bat and bring the team closer to victory, though no other player could last for long. Pant scored the highest 64 runs.
New Zealand spinner Ejaz Patel played a major role in giving New Zealand this victory. He took 5 wickets in the first innings to catch India, while in the 2nd innings he grabbed 6 wickets and made the victory of the visiting team easy.
