President Droupadi Murmu to visit Odisha for two days starting October 23
Bhubaneswar, Oct 14: President Droupadi Murmu is set to embark on a two-day visit to Odisha starting October 23. During her stay, she will visit Puri on October 24 to serve as the chief guest at the 75th anniversary celebrations of Gopabandhu Ayurveda Mahavidyalaya. According to her itinerary, the event will take place from 12:10 pm to 1:00 pm, marking a significant milestone for the institution.
This visit follows President Murmu's earlier trip to Odisha in July, where she spent four days attending important events. She participated in the 96th Death Anniversary observance of Utkalamani Pandit Gopabandhu Das in Bhubaneswar and witnessed the grand Rath Yatra of Lord Jagannath and his siblings in Puri on July 7.
President Murmu's upcoming visit underscores her continued engagement with Odisha and its cultural heritage.
