Bhubaneswar, Sept 27: The Mohan Majhi government is set to host the state's flagship global investors' summit, Utkarsh Odisha, on January 28-29, 2025, in Bhubaneswar. This event is a rebranded version of the previous Make in Odisha Conclave.

Ahead of the investment summit, Chief Minister Mohan Majhi will lead a delegation for an interactive session in New Delhi on October 3.

The theme for the 2025 conclave, “Odisha will be the growth engine of the development journey of the country in the next 25 years,” aligns with the Prime Minister's vision for the state, aiming to attract both domestic and foreign investments while supporting the Atmanirbhar Bharat initiative.

In an invitation from Principal Secretary of Industries Hemant Sharma, he emphasized that with the Union and state governments strategically aligned, Odisha offers a uniquely favorable environment for Central Public Sector Undertakings (PSUs) seeking growth and expansion in the region. “Odisha is committed to facilitating growth through favorable policies and robust support mechanisms, particularly in sectors critical to national interests,” Sharma added.

Utkarsh Odisha will mark the fourth edition of the state’s premier global investors’ summit.
