Youth found dead under mysterious circumstances in Subarnapur
Bhubaneswar, July 18: A youth was found dead under mysterious circumstances in Choukamal village, under Lachhipur police limits in Subarnapur district, late Wednesday night.
The deceased has been identified as Siba Bariha. According to reports, Siba went to the village market yesterday evening but did not return home. Later, villagers found him hacked and writhing in pain.
Upon receiving a tip-off, his family members reached the spot and rushed him to Dunguripali Hospital. As his condition worsened, doctors referred him to Veer Surendra Sai Institute of Medical Sciences and Research. However, he succumbed to his injuries on the way to the hospital.
Meanwhile, Siba’s family alleged that he was murdered. They accused Biswa Mahananda of killing Siba over a past rivalry and filed a complaint with Lachhipur police. They are demanding action against Mahananda.
