Bhubaneswar, June 25: A youth from Brahmagiri, who was employed as a security guard at a company in Bengaluru, was found dead under mysterious circumstances on Tuesday morning.

The deceased has been identified as Sambit, son of Subala Jena, and a resident of Gambhari village under Brahmagiri police limits.

Sources indicate that 21-year-old Sambit worked as a security guard for a private firm in Bengaluru, regularly sending a portion of his salary to his parents. His body was discovered hanging on the company premises under mysterious circumstances on Tuesday morning.

Sambit’s family, suspecting foul play, has alleged that his death was not a suicide. His father, Subala, has filed a complaint with Brahmagiri police.

“Sambit was a cheerful and pleasant young man. He had no enemies and would never consider taking such an extreme step. We believe he was murdered, and the culprits staged it as a suicide to avoid arrest,” Subala claimed.
