Leaders extend greetings as Raja festival begins in Odisha

Bhubaneswar, June 14: President Droupadi Murmu extended warm wishes on Friday for the occasion of the Raja festival, which commenced on the same day.
Joining her in conveying greetings were Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi, Union Minister Dharmendra Pradhan, and former Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik, who all expressed their best wishes to the people of Odisha.
President Murmu took to Twitter, saying, “My heartfelt greetings to all on the occasion of Raja. The people of Odisha celebrate this agricultural festival with sweets, cakes, and paan. May this auspicious festival bring happiness, peace, and prosperity to the people of the state and the nation.”
Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi also shared his wishes, stating, “Warm greetings and best wishes to the people of the state on the occasion of Pahili Raja.”
Former Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik added, “Heartiest greetings and congratulations to everyone on the occasion of Raja. May this festival fill everyone’s life with joy and happiness.”
