Rohit Sharma to lead Indian squad for ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2024

New Delhi, April 30: Rohit Sharma has been appointed captain of the 15-member Indian squad set to compete in the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2024, hosted in the West Indies and USA from June 1 to 29.
All-rounder Hardik Pandya will serve as Rohit's deputy during the prestigious tournament.
India's campaign will commence with a match against Ireland on June 5 at the Nassau County International Cricket Stadium in New York. Following this, a highly anticipated showdown against Pakistan is scheduled for June 9 at the same venue.
Subsequent matches will see India facing off against USA and Canada on June 12 and 15, respectively.
The Indian squad for the T20 World Cup comprises Rohit Sharma (Captain), Hardik Pandya (Vice Captain), Yashasvi Jaiswal, Virat Kohli, Suryakumar Yadav, Rishabh Pant (WK), Sanju Samson (WK), Shivam Dube, Ravindra Jadeja, Axar Patel, Kuldeep Yadav, Yuzvendra Chahal, Arshdeep Singh, Jasprit Bumrah, and Mohd. Siraj.
Reserve players include Shubman Gill, Rinku Singh, Khaleel Ahmed, and Avesh Khan.
