Exam stress claims life of class X student in Bhadrak
Bhadrak, Feb 23: Tragically, a Class X student, identified as Abhishek Panda from Radha village in Mayurbhanj district, reportedly took his own life at his aunt’s residence in Jahangir Sasan village, Bhadrak. Abhishek, who was staying with his aunt while pursuing his studies, was found hanging after his family attempted to wake him for his English examination.
According to sources, Abhishek's aunt had tried to wake him at 4 am for his exam preparation but received no response. Concerned, the family broke into his room only to discover the devastating scene. While the police investigation is ongoing, it's suspected that the immense pressure of the impending exams might have led Abhishek to such a drastic decision.
His aunt revealed that Abhishek had received a distressing message from a girl the day before, mentioning suicide. However, when questioned, Abhishek dismissed it as a misunderstanding and fell asleep. The police have recovered his body and initiated post-mortem procedures to determine the exact cause of death.
