Bhubaneswar, Feb 4: A disturbing incident has surfaced from the Nimapara area of Puri district, where a 13-year-old boy was allegedly subjected to sexual assault. The local community remains in shock as details of the harrowing ordeal emerge, leading to the swift intervention of law enforcement.

According to police reports, the minor was playing volleyball with friends in his village when the situation turned dark. Two young men allegedly approached the boy and managed to lure him away from the playground under false pretenses. They reportedly took him to a secluded jungle area nearby, where the assault took place.

Following the heinous act, the ordeal did not end; the accused reportedly directed verbal abuse and "filthy language" toward the victim’s family members, further compounding the trauma.

Despite the distress, the brave teenager approached the Balanga Police Station to file an official complaint. Recognizing the gravity of the situation, the police launched an immediate operation. Both suspects were successfully tracked down and placed under arrest shortly after the report was filed.

Authorities have confirmed that a formal investigation is currently underway to ensure a tight legal case.
