Amit Shah leads BJP charge with Odisha roadshow ahead of second phase polls

Bhubaneswar, May 14: Tomorrow, May 15th, Union Home Minister Amit Shah is scheduled to visit Odisha in anticipation of the second phase of elections in the state. His itinerary includes stops at Soroda and Boudh, followed by a grand roadshow in Cuttack.

According to Lalatendu Badu, BJP’s Cuttack Nagar president, the roadshow will kick off around 4 pm from Gopabandhu Park, traversing through various key areas of Cuttack such as Buxi Bazaar, Tinikonia Bagicha, Dargha Bazaar, Choudhry Bazaar, Naya Sarak, Balu Bazaar, Chandni Chowk, and Mohammadia Bazaar, concluding at Chandi Mandir Chhak.

This visit comes after Amit Shah's previous campaign in Sonepur on April 26th. Additionally, BJP’s National President, JP Nadda, is slated to campaign in Hinjili, Sundargarh, and Padampur on May 17th.

Meanwhile, Prime Minister Narendra Modi is also gearing up for his Odisha visit on May 20th, marking his third visit to the state this month. As per Golak Mohapatra, Vice President of Odisha BJP, PM Modi will engage in a roadshow in Puri and address public gatherings in Cuttack and Angul on Monday.

In a parallel move, Congress leader Rahul Gandhi is set to visit Odisha on the same day, May 15th, with plans to campaign in Balangir.
