PM Modi conducts Pran Pratistha for Lord Ram Lalla in Ayodhya

Ayodhya, Jan 22: Prime Minister Modi presided over the pran-pratishtha ceremony for Lord Ram Lalla within the sanctum sanctorum of the Ayodhya Ram Temple. Crafted by Arun Yogiraj from Karnataka, the 51-inch idol of Ram Lalla, depicted as a five-year-old, was chosen for its exquisite portrayal of innocence, divinity, and royalty, a decision endorsed by Trust authorities.
The intricately adorned idol features an extensive array of jewelry, adorning it from head to toe. Ram Lalla, in the skilled hands of Arun Yogiraj, grasps a golden bow and arrow, while sporting a tilak of silver and red on the forehead. The vibrant yellow dhoti, complemented by vibrant flowers and dazzling jewelry, enhances the idol's majestic appearance. The exquisite flower decorations amid the opulent jewelry further contribute to the grandeur of the occasion.
On Monday, Indian Air Force (IAF) choppers showered flower petals over the Shri Ram Janmaboomi Temple premises in Ayodhya as the idol of Ram Lalla was unveiled in the esteemed presence of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
The 'Ram Lalla idol's' Pran Pratistha ceremony unfolded in a sacred duration of 84 seconds, a momentous ritual within the 48-minute 'Abhijeet muhurat,' occurring daily between sunrise and sunset. The ceremony coincided with the Sun reaching its zenith during the Abhijeet muhurat, adding a profound significance to the proceedings.
Notable dignitaries such as RSS Chief Mohan Bhagwat, Governor Anandiben Patel, and Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath were also present in the sanctum sanctorum of the temple, witnessing the historic event.
