BJP leader Suvendu Adhikari officially took oath as the Chief Minister of West Bengal during a large swearing-in ceremony held at the Brigade Parade Ground in Kolkata on Saturday. The event marked a major turning point in the state’s political landscape, as the Bharatiya Janata Party formed its first government in West Bengal after years of dominance by regional political forces.

The ceremony witnessed the presence of several prominent leaders from the NDA, including Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Union Home Minister Amit Shah.
