Padmashri Pramod Bhagat Clinches Triple Gold at HULIC DAIHATSU Japan Para Badminton International 2025
Tokyo, Japan | November 9, 2025 — Odisha’s star para badminton player and India’s pride, Padma Shri Pramod Bhagat, has once again brought glory to the nation by winning three Gold Medals at the prestigious HULIC DAIHATSU Japan Para Badminton International 2025, held from 5th to 9th November 2025 in Tokyo, Japan.
Pramod Bhagat reaffirmed his dominance as one of the world’s finest para shuttlers by securing Gold in Men’s Singles (SL3), Mixed Doubles (SL3–SU5), and Men’s Doubles (SL3–SL4) events.
In the Men’s Singles (SL3) final, Bhagat showcased outstanding skill and resilience to defeat Japan’s Daisuke Fujihara in a thrilling three-game battle with scores of 17–21, 21–19, 21–10, clinching his first Gold Medal in the event.
Teaming up with Manisha Ramadass, he captured his second Gold in Mixed Doubles (SL3–SU5) by overcoming fellow Indians Nitesh Kumar and Thulasimathi Murugesan in straight games, 21–19, 21–19.
In the Men’s Doubles (SL3–SL4) event, Bhagat partnered with Sukant Kadam to secure his third Gold, defeating the Indian duo of Jagdish Delli and Naveen Shivkumar with scores of 21–17, 18–21, 21–16.
