Actor Budhaditya Mohanty discharged after 8-day hospitalisation
Bhubaneswar, Sept 23: Popular Odia actor Budhaditya Mohanty has been discharged from a private hospital in Cuttack after an eight-day stay. He was admitted following complaints of chest pain and was later diagnosed with a lung infection. Doctors from the Pulmonary Medicine Department provided specialised treatment, leading to significant improvement in his condition.
Hospital sources confirmed that Budhaditya is now recovering at home, though he has been advised to take ample rest, follow a strict medication schedule, and avoid physical strain until full recovery.
Expressing gratitude, the actor personally thanked the team of doctors and nurses for their dedicated care. He also conveyed heartfelt appreciation to his fans and well-wishers across Odisha, stating that their love and prayers played a crucial role in his recovery.
Budhaditya is not only a household name in Ollywood but also a familiar face in Hindi television. Starting his career with Hindi serials, he later transitioned to Odia cinema, where he earned wide acclaim. His performances in films such as Nandini I Love You, Prema Rogi, and Pagala Karichi Paunji Tora remain highly popular.
