With More Than 66 crore Taking Bath, Mahakumbh Comes To End

The world's largest mass gathering, the Mahakumbh, was concluded by sunset on Wednesday. By 8 pm on the last day of this 45-day-long event, 1.53 crore people had bathed in the holy water of the Sangam. In the previous 44 days, 65 crore people had bathed in the holy water. This number is double the population of America (about 34 crore). The number who bathed in the Sangam is more than the population of 193 countries. Only the populations of India and China are more than the number of devotees who have come to the Mahakumbh. Yogi government has informed that, about half of the total Hindus in the world have bathed here.
