Shah started 'Amrit Kalash Yatra' under 'Meri Maati, Mera Desh' campaign

New Delhi : Under the 'Meri Mati, Mera Desh' campaign, Union Home and Cooperation Minister Amit Shah inaugurated the 'Amrit Kalash Yatra' in Delhi, on Friday. In his address, Shah made it clear that the tagline of the 'Meri Mati, Mera Desh' program, "Saluting the Soil, Honouring the Heroes," says a lot.

Behind the 'Meri Mati, Mera Desh' program lies a single faith – paying tribute to the brave souls who sacrificed their all to free Mother India and remembering them. Shah congratulated the country on the successful landing of Chandrayaan-3 on the lunar south pole and said that every citizen is beaming with pride.

Following the success of the ‘Har Ghar Tiranga’ campaign under the leadership of PM Narendra Modi and the skilled guidance of Amit Shah, the 'Meri Mati, Mera Desh' campaign has been initiated to honour the brave hearts who sacrificed their lives for the nation.

This campaign aims to promote 'public participation' by organizing various programs at the village, panchayat, block, urban local body, state, and national levels. As part of this campaign, the 'Amrit Kalash Yatra' will be organized throughout the country. The journey will bring soil and plants from different corners of the country to Delhi, where they will be merged to create the 'Amrit Vatika' near the National War Memorial, which eventually will become a symbol of 'Ek Bharat-Shrestha Bharat'.

The five principles outlined by Prime Minister Narendra Modi for the formation of a great India – the goal of a developed India, freedom from the mentality of slavery, pride in one's roots and traditions, dedicating one's entire life for unity and integrity, and instilling a sense of duty among citizens – are being actively pursued in the present era through 'Meri Mati, Mera Desh' program.

The ideation for a programme like 'Meri Mati Mera Desh' can only be done by the Modi-Shah duo, whose hearts are filled with unwavering patriotism.
