Winter Session Of Parliament From 25th

New Delhi: Parliamentary Affairs Minister Kiren Rijiju informed that the winter session of the Parliament will start from 25th of this month. The session will continue till December 20. A celebration (Constitution Day) will be held in the Central Hall of the Parliament on the second day of the session i.e. November 26 to mark the 75th anniversary of the promulgation of the Constitution. President Draupadi Murmu is scheduled to address the joint session of both houses on the first day.
In this session, the Waqf Amendment Bill, One Nation-One Election Bill will be presented and discussed. A joint parliamentary committee chaired by BJP MP Jagdambika Pal is expected to submit its final report on the Waqf Amendment Bill on November 29. On the other hand, the committee chaired by former President Ramnath Kovind has already submitted its report on 'One Country-One Election' and the matter will be discussed in the House.
