Nadda warns government employees against election code violations in Odisha
Bhubaneswar, May 16: During his two-day election campaign in Odisha, BJP national president conducted a roadshow on Thursday morning, starting from Mausima Square and ending at Lingaraj Temple in Bhubaneswar. He was joined by Aparajita Sarangi, the BJP candidate for the Bhubaneswar Lok Sabha seat, and Babu Singh, the party's nominee for the Bhubaneswar-Ekamra Assembly constituency.
In his address to the gathered crowd, the BJP chief stated, "The people of Odisha have decided it's time to let Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik rest and allow the BJP to form the next government."
Expressing confidence in the BJP's success in the upcoming Assembly election, he added, "We are set to win and liberate the people of Odisha from bureaucratic control. The state now seeks a new, young, and dynamic Chief Minister dedicated to improving their lives. The BJP is ready to fulfill these aspirations."
Nadda also projected a strong performance in the Lok Sabha elections, asserting that the BJP would win all 21 seats in Odisha. "The people here are resolved to vote for the BJP and ensure Prime Minister Narendra Modi's return to power for a third term. This will result in a double-engine government in Odisha."
Additionally, the BJP president warned of stringent actions against government employees who support the regional party in violation of the election code. "We will take strict measures against any government staff found working in favor of the BJD during the elections," he declared.
