BJD's Karthik Pandian foresees election triumph in Odisha's first phase

Bhubaneswar, May 8: With elections looming, campaign fervor reaches its zenith in Odisha. Biju Janata Dal's (BJD) prominent campaigner, Karthik Pandian, asserts a confident prediction of a clean sweep for the party in the initial phase of polling.
In a dialogue with local media, the 5T chairman expressed certainty regarding BJD's favorable reception during the first round of elections on May 13 in Odisha. Pandian highlighted the party's main contenders in Koraput and Kalahandi as Congress, while noting BJD's overwhelming dominance in Ganjam. He anticipates a resounding victory for the party in the inaugural phase of polling.
Furthermore, VK Pandian emphasized the public's anticipation of BJD's manifesto, emphasizing its role not merely as a tool for garnering votes but as a blueprint for Odisha's development. "Everyone eagerly awaits Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik's manifesto, set to be unveiled within two days," stated Nabin Odisha chairman.
Previously, senior BJD leader and party strategist VK Pandian challenged the BJP to nominate its Chief Ministerial candidate for Odisha. Addressing the saffron party in a public gathering at Khallikote, Ganjam district, Pandian asserted that without a clear candidate, BJP stands to garner less than 10 percent of the vote.
Worth noting, voting for Odisha's four Lok Sabha constituencies and the 28 associated assembly seats commences on May 13. Subsequent phases of the election are scheduled for May 19, May 25, and June 1, with results slated for announcement on June 4.
