Brutal murder in Boudh: Man allegedly kills wife, chops body into pieces

Boudh, April 3: A man is suspected of murdering his wife using a sharp weapon and dismembering her body in Brundaban village, located under the jurisdiction of Boudh Town police station in Boudh district.
The victim, identified as Ambruti Nag, allegedly fell victim to her husband, Sanatan Nag, who is currently on the run following the heinous act. Sanatan and Ambruti resided together in Tikira Sahi within Brundaban village. Sanatan, known for his habitual drinking, frequently engaged in arguments with his wife.
Last night, in an intoxicated state, Sanatan reportedly engaged in a dispute with his wife that escalated tragically. Armed with a sharp weapon, Sanatan allegedly fatally assaulted his wife before dismembering her body into 20 to 30 pieces.
In the morning, villagers noticed bloodstains outside the couple's home and alerted the authorities. Upon arrival, the police forcibly entered the residence and discovered Ambruti's remains. A case was registered, and the police sent the body for post-mortem examination.
